CoughCool Secret Shame are so so good. They are one of my favorite newer bands. The vocal delivery is such that you can feel the emotion. The music is an angsty goths dream. I certainly am angsty but by no means am goth but I get along fine with these fine folks Favorite track: Dissolve.

agutterfan Do you love early 80s Brit indie like New Order and The Cure? I do, Secret Shame do, and "Dissolve" stands shoulders with those groups with pride. Fantastically catchy. Favorite track: Dissolve.

Clara E. Another couple of bangers from one of the best active post-punk bands. Favorite track: Dissolve.

Dissolve 02:46
Sedate it until you look at yourself Longing for someone to help or know to But it's too much Too much to talk about Give it up, let it die There are far more difficult things in life And, for the form that serves to hold you inside, The mind that beats the body, If it wants to eat you alive And you want it to weaken you, slim you down, fade you, take you away- Is it too much to talk of? Too much Unwell It's so easy to hide, With how high you hold yourself No one will think to ask A cure or a curse? You want it, too Too Too Soon Set in a way Set in a way Set in a way Set in a way Unwell It's so easy to hide, With how high you hold yourself And no one seems to ask A cure or a curse? You want them to To Soon.

Pure 04:08
Skeletal being filled with light I know you’re trying to hide it When bones crack for metamorphosis Replace the fixtures You’re beautiful, ugly, everything impure To my future face, Take care to try and be careful Take care of the animal who’s lost sight of herself When flowers grow, flowers grow out from your spine Grow them longer You’re beautiful, wonderful, everything pure Take me Take me instead and I will find your way Paved through sickness in waves Don’t, don’t trust in medicine Always you’ll remember I’ve seen you try harder with things that you care less for What’s the use in fighting it? I know you’re trying to hide it And when beings prod and pry open your mind To the fixers They’ll fix you up proper, they’ll make you pure Don’t come back to me in times of hardness When you’ve crumbled the earth and shattered its inhabitants And when the rubble clears, and you crawl out from the dust, I’ll still fix you Beauty, imperfect, you’re everything pure.
